Heritage Open Days is a national celebration of
England’s architecture and culture. It
offers a great opportunity for both visitors and Cheltenham residents to
explore historic buildings that are either not normally open to the public
or, over this weekend, have waived
their entrance charges. This year
more than 20 buildings will be open together with 10 Eco-homes. A full list

Parmoor House Open Day |

Lypiatt Terrace is considered by
architectural historians to be the finest example of Italianate architecture
in Cheltenham. The Terrace was started in the 1840’s with Parmoor House at 13
Lypiatt Terrace dating from 1862.
Visitors will have a unique opportunity to tour the building and its
garden, see a special exhibition of photographs from Cheltenham Art Gallery
and Museum. Learn also about the activities of Cheltenham Civic Society –
including recent Civic Awards – and learn how you could influence the future
plans for Cheltenham’s built environment. Opening times: |
